Single UART with I2C-bus/SPI Interface, SC16IS750
This breakout board, SC16IS750 allows the conversion of I2C or SPI signals to a single channel UART. It has internal registers that can be accessed to control the behavior of the UART and that may be used to read or write data that is available on the serial port. It is a small module, widely used with Arduino (or any other microcontroller & microprocessor) for UART interfacing.
